Havanese have family friendly natures, they love people and consider themselves valued members of the family. Do not purchase one if they will be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time, if they feel neglected they will play up, just like a normal child. They are non-shedding dogs and very clean. They do not have anal gland issues. They do need combing/clipping or grooming.
