Rehoming Beloved Cat

Hello. My husband and I are looking for the perfect home for our beloved cat Twitch. Unfortunately, our other cat is having health issues and the two cats are not getting along at all. Although I believe once you get an animal they become family, what does one do when one family member is beating up on a recovering older one. It truly saddens me to give Twitch away, but he deserves our full attention and isn’t getting it due to our older cat’s issues. After years of doing everything to try to make this work, we feel it would be best for both cats to be apart.

About Twitch:

This energetic tabby cat is approximately 6–7 years old. Twitch loves to cuddle up while his human is watching tv or working from their laptop at home. He is extremely playful and enjoys chasing his toys or watching cat tv! On a sunny day, you’ll find Twitch soaking in the sun from the window or outside enjoy the rays from the patio/catio. On cold days, he’ll be looking for warmth near a heater or anyone to sit on however, if you get up he’ll let you know you’ve disrupted his comfort with a little high pitch meow. Getting comfortable with Twitch will take some time, because he is skittish at first and does not like change. A calm household would be best for Twitch as he doesn’t like hustle and bustle, unless it is playtime where you can see his fur move or twitch, which is how he got his name.
