Hello, here is some information on Chase,
Chase is a sweet gentle giant Great Pyrenees cross, 4 years old and weights 115 lbs. He is very housetrained, friendly, good on leash/harness but could improve and loves to go for walks on-leash only as recall isn't great. He shows no signs of food aggression...not really food driven but we only usually offer baby carrots as treats. He likes to play fetch games and will tell you when he's done playing (Chase will retrieve the ball and return it to you but when he's done he will just leave it), loves lounging around near his favorite people, can get shy/nervous when meeting new people, hes ok with older kids that can be firm with him and does well with other dogs particularly females. He also show signs of remorse when he has done something wrong or plays too rough with a fellow dog as he will stop playing. He is crate trained. He will go into his crate w his bed by himself for a nap but will resist at request. We are firm when saying "IN"...won't be happy about it but will calm after 5 mins, then hes quiet and relaxed. Chase is used to sleeping with family at night as he's a protector so the closer he is to his family the better. He LOVES the snow...nose diving and rolling in snow is a hilarious fun time. He knows many commands shake a paw, sit, out, in, stay, come, kiss, up, down...some with hand commands. Chase will NOT jump up on anyone unless he is invited but often won't.
Chase LOVED belly rubs, loves to be brushed, has no issues with his ears, paws or tail being touched. Chase is strictly an inside dog and has never been left outside at night but will need a fully fenced yard to run and play. When he ready to come inside he will let you know. Also...Chase sings!!! Thats right, he loves music and will howl when he hears a song he likes. He does well at home alone to roam the house but will show you his sad puppy eyes when he knows his family is leaving but enjoys spa music when home alone, helps relax him. He need time to warm up to his environment, enjoys car rides, occasionally he gets liver treats so for any training purposes, this would be a great option. Chase is allergic to all poultry. Sometimes he needs reassurance from his family when he's upset/scared/unsure of something...he knows the words "Chase, you're ok" with a head scratch and all is better. He also has a corky behavior...he like to open things. Bottom oven drawers, lower cupboard doors etc. Not sure why he does this as he has never taken anything out of them, he just likes the challenge of opening things. When Chase wants to join you on the couch, he will ask first! He will place 1 paw on the couch and wait for an answer "yes or no". If he gets a no, he will normally lay at your feet instead. Chase has never been known to dig in the garbage or steal food off the counter And typically we'll not beg for food Chase knows he is a big dog and is usually quite gentle and has never broken anything in the house Chase is free fed and shares his food and water dish with the other dog in the home. Chase would thrive in a home with a mature family. Chase is up to date on Vaccines, is tattooed and neutered.
