Hello everyone. My name is Puma. I am a rescue that travelled to Canada so that I would have a chance at being the best dog possible in a new home. I sustained an injury when I was found, and the vets there did a great job of fixing my leg. I love Canada. 🤍 I love the room to run. I love the snow!! So many wonderful people here. Although, I must admit that at -20 my paws are uncomfortable.

I have been living with a foster family for the past six months and they've done their best to provide me with a loving and comfortable home with on-going training. As you can imagine training takes time. I'm learning to walk on a leash. My owners say that I'm progressing very well. I continue to improve day by day.

I especially love the dog park. A dog park is ideal because I really need to run to get my energy out. Second, I enjoy chasing after a ball and will return it. 😁.

Because of my immature high energy, I sometimes don’t understand how far I go when I’m playing so it might look like I'm acting aggressively. My master’s simply fix this by having me sit down calmly until I calm down and relax. After I've relaxed for a couple of minutes, he lets me go again.

Do you have cold toes because I like to sit on your feet. Do you have a sore back because I sometimes like to nuzzle behind you wherever you're sitting and will provide excellent lumbar support.

I can be quite content being on my own for a few hours as well. I love my chew toys, the sturdier the better 🦴.

I'm currently living with three other dogs. One is my best friend, and we often wrestle and especially love to run with each other at the park.

I love my current home though I know it's only temporary. There is a cat in the household. At first, I wasn't quite sure what to make of it, though now we have seem to have come to an agreement where he'll stay in his corner, and I will stay in mine. I have access to a backyard, and I make full use of all the space because I do love to run.

So, while I enjoy living here, I would really like to enrich the life of your home by being part of it. I like kids, but because I can play rough it would not be for the best.
